Pot plants found in forest near Deckers

Authorities have destroyed about 4,400 marijuana plants growing on the Pike National forest in central Colorado. The U.S. Forest Service and Douglas County sheriff's office removed the plants near Deckers Wednesday. Authorities say four men were seen fleeing the area as officers arrived. Hikers safe after surviving two nights in mountains

A Fort Carson soldier and his 19-year-old girlfriend from Pueblo are safe--having survived two nights in the mountains. The pair endured snow showers both nights, while wearing just jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes. They're inexperienced hikers who went on a day hike in rugged country, and got lost.
