The panhandling ban in downtown Colorado Springs means bad news for Salvation Army bell ringers.
Volunteer bell ringers have been booted off the corner of Pike's Peak and Tejon St. since the kettle drive is considered solicitation. They'll still be bell ringing elsewhere in the city and county.

Colorado Springs police are investigating a shooting that happened at a downtown nightclub. Early reports are that a fight broke out in the smoking are of the Sodo nightclub on South Tejon Steen at around 2:00 a.m.
