A mall security guard was injured in Colorado Springs late Sunday night. Colorado Springs Police report that the security guard on Chapel Hills Dr. contacted a suspicious person, described as a white man wearing dark clothing. Early Saturday morning, Colorado Springs police officers were dispatched to the Palo Verde Apartments, located at on N. Murray Blvd, in regards to a burglary in progress.
