Soldier injured during parachute exercise

A Fort Carson soldier was injured this afternoon during a parachute operation. It happened around 12:30. The soldier, as yet unidentified, was airlifted to Penrose Hospital as a precaution. A Fort Carson spokesman said he was conscious, breathing and able to move before he was taken to the hospital.... more » -
