Colorado State Fair turns higher profit

More good news for the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo. Recently released figures show the 11-day fair run this year turned a profit of roughly $980,000. That's up about $160,000 from the 2009 fair. Colorado State Fair showed $816,000 profit this year

The Colorado State Fair had a net profit of $816,000 this year, the best since it cut back to an 11-day run. Fair officials met in Pueblo last week to analyze the numbers. Last year, the net profit was $343,000. The fair has been shortened twice to save money.... more »
