Crews fighting the grass fire in a field between Woody Creek Drive and S. Powers Blvd have reported the fire extinguished. Crews still on scene are watching for hot spots and performing mop up functions. No homes were reported damaged by the fire due to the quick response of fire... more » -

Fire crews from Fountain and Security have responded in force to quickly gain the upper hand on a grass fire buring in an open field between S. Powers Blvd and Woody Creek Road.
