The State Patrol confirms one person was injured in a tanker truck crash on Highway 50 this morning. The road is now closed in both directions. Traffic is being stopped at mile marker 223 and 229 near Swissvale. At this time no official detour has been set up. ... more » -

Six miles of Highway 50 is closed near the tiny town of Swissvale, just east of Salida, due to a tanker truck accident and fire. The State Patrol reports the closure is from mile marker 223 to 229. That six miles of highway is two lane and the road... more »
