Manitou Springs Police dispatch tells News 5 that an injury accident in the eastbound portion of Hwy 24 between Cascade and Manitou Springs has one lane blocked. Rock slides closed Highway 24 west of Colorado Springs twice at the end of summer. A man shot and killed an 18-month-old bear in his home in Green Mountain Falls, up Ute Pass from Colorado Springs.
