Vermijo at Chestnut is still closed off as investigators continue to collect evidence from this morning's deadly shooting. Small fire burns in Colorado Springs attic

Colorado Springs fire crews quickly extinguished a fire in an attic in the 300 block of Prospect, near Prospect and Vermijo Monday afternoon.
