5 month old Destine Warren will be remembered by family and friends Monday at 2 p.m. at Praise Community Church in Florence. Destine died earlier this week from a medical condition. A Colorado Springs Jury returned a guilty verdict in the murder trial of Marc Sylvester Thursday afternoon. Sylvester was accused of killing Jennifer Warren last year. Humane Society managers settle lawsuit

Former managers of the Colorado Humane Society won't be allowed to open more shelters under an agreement with the state. The Colorado Humane Society came under fire in 2008.
