Film students at one local middle school are being recognized at a national youth film festival.
About 5 eight graders from L-P-T-V at Lewis-Palmer Middle School produced "Cyber-Bullying" a documentary depicting how serious online bullying is.
The documentary was selected to be shown among 200 films at the "National Film Festival for Talented Youth."
It's happening next month, in Seattle.
"It not only tells you the consequences, it shows you what you can do if you are cyberbullied,"said middle school student M.J. Dooley.
The El Paso County Sheriffs office assisted in the production for the "Cyber-Bullying" as well as a couple of students from Palmer Ridge High School.
The students from L-P-T-V are now doing some fundraising, to help pay for the trip to Seattle.
