Across the nation cries for justice grow louder in the killing of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen who was gunned down by a neighborhood watch captain while walking home from a convenience store.
The outrage is present even here in Colorado Springs, where hundreds gathered for a march from Acacia Park to the police department downtown. Protesters called for action from law enforcement to arrest Martin's killer and avenge the young teen's death. "We ain't gotta seek revenge on this man, we just want justice. We want the law to do what they're supposed to do," one activist says.
George Zimmerman, the man who killed the 17 year old, has not been arrested or charged in Martin's killing. He says his actions were in self-defense, citing the 'Stand-Your-Ground' law that permits deadly action against threats in the streets.
