Posted 5:05 PM 11/9/2011 : Future of Section 16 temporarily on hold
The city took ownership of Section 16 earlier this year. It connects Red Rock Canyon and White Acres. Although the master planning process is currently on hold, parks will resume planning in 2012.
While the master plan process is delayed, the P arks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department will continue to engage in a separate public process with open space and regional parks volunteers, friends and users groups across the community to help shape the future of the park.
