Trinidad High School's Vanessa Gonzalez is this week's Loaf 'N Jug Gatorade Athlete of the Week.
And this girl doesn't just play one sport. She's like Bo Jackson, Deion sanders, Dave Winfield, and Danny Ainge. She can do it all. Vanessa has helped lead the Miners girls basketball team to a perfect 22-0 record. They host the a 3A regional tournament this Friday and Saturday.
Vanessa is also a standout volleyball player, as a two-time volleyball player of the year in the Tri-Peaks League.
Vanessa hopes to play sports in college and she can also get it done with the pencil and paper. She has a 4.0 GPA, is a member of student council, and also volunteers for her church and in her community.
